Eleanor H. Porter (1868-1920) was an American novelist born in Littleton, New Hampshire. Her 1913 novel Pollyanna became a bestseller, and she later wrote its sequel, Pollyanna Grows Up. Porter also wrote short stories and other novels, including Just David.
